Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0703139A1] The hulls(12) are joined together by arms(14) forward, amidships and astern. A power unit(16) of hydro-jet type in at least on hull may be replaced by one of propeller-shaft or surface-screw type. The platform(22) mounted on the floating base(10) can accommodate a variety of modules(24) for either passenger seating or freight stowage or a mixt. of both, in addn. to a control cabin(20) with a chart table and other conventional bridge equipment. Fuel is carried in the bulls and completely isolated from passenger accommodation.
