[origin: DE4427135A1] The feed device has two feed roller pairs and a passage between them with a guide surface which can be turned out of the movement track. The guide surface (27a) is held ready for along period against a flap (25) pivoted on an axis (28) by the closing force. The flap is facing the side of the strip (16) which itself faces the strip store (13) (the wide side). It has a narrow sector (27b) in the vicinity of the second roller pair (12), the edge (27c) of which can open the flap against the closing force. This control edge is at a small acute angle (27d) to the longitudinal direction of the strap surface.
