[origin: EP0703184A1] The lifting jig of the hoist has a central, vertical pulling shaft (28) moving inside a vertical guide sleeve (18) which supports the lifting jig. Three grips (24) are mounted on crank arms (34) which are moved radially in response to the relative vertical movements of the central shaft and the sleeve. The upper end of the shaft is fitted with a slotted control plate (30) while the sleeve has an upper hooked extension (56) which sits over a lifting profile (46) of the hoist. The position of the lifting profile in the slots defines the radial setting of the grips. Each grip is linked to a lower grip (38) by a second crank arm (36) with the lower grip operating on a smaller diameter and angled. The lower grips are used to grip inside conical profiles which are fitted to the top of a reinforcing shaft and which have a smaller diameter access hole. The slot pattern has two grip positions (50,52) corresponding to the two ring shapes to be lifted, and a third position (58) corresponding to a non-grip setting.
