Abstract (en)
The deformable contact layer is a soft elastomer layer (10) of low Shore hardness, and is vulcanized to the hard elastomer layer (9). The Shore hardness of the hard layer is more than 70 Shore A, e.g. 90, and that of the soft layer is less than 50 Shore A, e.g. 30. The thickness of the soft layer is between 1 and 4 mm. It is thicker in the area of the rail head underside (5) and/or the rail foot (4), than in the area of the rail stem (3). The shaping of the damper element (6) gives higher contact pressure in rail head and rail foot areas.

Ein Dämpfungselement 6 für eine Schiene 1 weist einen weitgehend starren Stützkörper 8 und eine auf dem Stützkörper 8 angeordnete harte Elastomerschicht 9 großer Shorehärte auf. Das Dämpfungselement 6 ist mit der harten Elastomerschicht 9 und unter zumindest teilweiser Zwischenordnung einer verformbaren Kontaktschicht zum seitlichen Andrücken an die Schiene 1 vorgesehen. Die Kontaktschicht ist eine weiche Elastomerschicht 10 geringer Shorehärte, die an die harte Elastomerschicht 9 anvulkanisiert ist. <IMAGE>
