Abstract (en)
The sweeping vehicle has a container (1) linked to the sweeping attachment (3) by a flexible suction duct (2). Two cylindrical brushes (8,9) are set in a V-pattern with axes horizontal and are rotated by hydraulic motors to sweep debris inwards towards a cowl (11) which is attached to the suction duct. The radial bristles of the rollers are set in a spiral pattern to produce a reaction force with the ground to pull the sweeper forwards. The cleaning action can be enhanced by other brushes near the mouth of the V-opening to loosen the debris. The working height of the system can be adjusted (7), and the suction cowl has adjustable inlet baffles, to match the size of the debris to be collected and to minimise ground damage, e.g. when sweeping grass.

Die Vorrichtung für die Reinigung und Pflege großflächiger Bereiche besteht aus einer frontseitig an einem Fahrzeug (1) angebrachten Aufsammelvorrichtung (3) mit wenigstens einer über einen Hydromotor (10) antreibbaren Bürste (8, 9), einem mit dem Fahrzeug (1) verbundenen oder kuppelbaren Sammelbehälter und einem Sauggebläse zur Beschickung des Sammelbehälters, dessen Ansaugleitung (2) eine von der oder den Bürsten (8, 9) beschickte Aufnahmedüse (11) aufweist. Die Bürste oder Bürsten (8, 9) langestreckt ausgebildet, liegend angeordnet und mit einem einer spiralen- oder schraubenförmigen Erzeugenden folgenden Besatz versehen, so daß sie beim rotierenden Antrieb um ihre Längsachse dem aufgesammelten Gut einen Vorschub zu der ihnen in Förderrichtung nachgeordneten Aufnahmedüse (11) erteilen. Die Größe einer frontseitigen Einlaß-Öffnung (16) der Aufnahmedüse ist z. B. über Klappen oder Blenden (18, 20) variierbar. <IMAGE>
