Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0703321A1] The bucket (10) of the digging machine is attached to the support arm by a mounting (28) incorporating a compact hydraulic motor (18) directly mounted under the support bracket. The motor is clamped directly between a flange (14) across the top of the bucket and a flange (16) rigidly attached to the mounting. The motor controls the relative spacing of the two flanges and thereby the operating movements of the bucket. The two ends of the motor have profiled flanges which locate into a prepared recess (44) in the bucket flange with one end and into a shaped slot in the rigid flange with the other end. The fittings are secured by screws. The motor can be replaced simply by loosening the screws. The hydraulic lines (34) are fed through the bracket. The motor has a plane flange to bolt to the underside of the bracket.
