Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0703593A2] The pole column includes a plastic housing (1,2). A disconnection unit (19) is in a first part (1) of the housing. A rod (20) to operate disconnection unit is in a second part (2)of the housing. The first (18) of two electrical contacts (18,25) is arranged on the outer cover part of the end of the second housing part which faces the first housing part. The first and second parts of the plastic housing are joined together to form one piece in the lengthways direction of the pole column. An opening (4) is provided in the outer cover of the housing for the passage of the first contact. The first part of the housing is cut off from the opening so as to be gas-tight by a lead-through element (14).
