[origin: WO9504212A1] A fuel-air mixture feed device for a two-stroke internal combustion engine with compressed air scavenging in the crankcase (5). The device includes at least one cylinder (1), a piston (9) reciprocating therein, and a scavenging air compression casing. The cylinder comprises at least one exhaust port (11), at least one transfer port (12) and a fuel/air mixture feed port (16). A rotary shut-off unit (19) driven synchronously with the engine is associated with the fuel/air mixture feed port (16) supplying the combustion chamber (10), and located in an air reservoir (14) supplied with compressed air at a pressure higher than the pressure in the combustion chamber (10) when the exhaust port (11) is open.
