[origin: EP0704300A2] The device is for clamping or loosening a clamp connection of two gearwheels, which are arranged coaxial and parallel, whereby one gearwheel (3) is rotating located on a union or pin of a shaft (1) of the other gearwheel. A clamp device is provided for prodn. of a strong connection of the gearwheel pair and a ring-shaped unlocking device (4) releases the strong connection. The rotatable gearwheel has clamp components (14) for connection with the shaft, and a pre-tensioned spring device (12) acts on the clamp components. The unlocking device for removal of the clamping engages on the spring device, whereby the gearwheel (2) fixed to the shaft is clamped to the frame.
