Abstract (en)
The ink cartridge has a casing with a single, or several separate ink reservoirs, each with an external opening for re-filling. Each reservoir (12) has an air vent (26) in the form of a membrane, permeable to air but not liquids, including ink. Partitioning walls (16), form reservoir chambers (12) in the casing (10), flush at the top with one edge. The membranes may form a common cover (36) for all chambers, fully sealed to the surrounding casing edge (14), and the partition ends (16). In addition to the refillable cartridge, a refilling device to replenish it, is also claimed.

Druckkopf (1) für einen Tintenstrahldrucker, der aus dem Tintenstrahldrucker herausnehmbar und außerhalb des Tintenstrahldruckers wiederbefüllbar ist, mit einem Gehäuse (10), in welchem ein einzelner Tintenvorratsraum (12) oder mehrere, voneinander getrennte Tintenvorratsräume (12) angeordnet sind, wobei jeder Tintenvorratsraum (12) über wenigstens eine Öffnung (22) zum Nachfüllen von Tinte von außen zugänglich und für jeden Tintenvorratsraum (12) ein Belüftungsventil (26, 36) in Form einer Membran (26, 36) vorgesehen ist, welche einerseits luftdurchlässig, andererseits flüssigkeitsdicht und damit für Tinte undurchlässig ist; sowie zum Wiederbefüllen derartiger Druckköpfe geeignete Vorrichtung. <IMAGE>
