Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0704595A1] The adjustor is mounted on a frameless window-pane (7) working in guide rails (11,12) inside the door. The rails hinge at their top ends on axes in the transverse direction of the vehicle. Their bottom ends are secured so as to pre-load the pane against a joint seal. The bottom end of each rail works in a guide (32) at right angles to the pane, and in which it is lockable by a fixing device accessible from the door underside. There can be two rails spaced apart, each working in a guide at its bottom end. Each guide can have a mounting (34) at the bottom of the door and formed by a bracket (35) fixed to an internal plate in the door above the bottom, in which there can be an access opening closed by a stopper.
