Abstract (en)
A casing system having aluminum inside and outside sections (6 and 4 respectively) for confining a panel (2, 3). The system comprises anchors (12, 13, 26), made from a relatively heat-resistant material, to be distributed over the length of the sections (4, 6). In mounted condition, the anchors (12, 13, 26) are anchored relative to one of the inside or outside sections (4 or 6 respectively). The anchors further comprise means for retaining the panels (2, 3). In the event of fire, the sections on the side of the fire usually give way or disappear first, causing the panels to fall out of the casings. In accordance with the invention, this is prevented by the anchors which then retain the panels relative to the sections located on the side of the casing facing away from the fire. <IMAGE>
