The fuel injection device atomisation grid (32) has an atomising structure (36) which has at least partial cross-sectional variations in an axial direction. The structure contains through flow areas (38) with cross-sectional surfaces running crossways to the valve longitudinal axis (2). The cross-sectional surfaces at least partly alter in an axial direction. The atomisation structure in an axial direction has at least partly a triangular cross-section. It is formed with an even surface running vertically to the valve longitudinal axis and facing the valve closure body (7), having limiting atomisation edges. A triangular point is turned away from the valve closure body.

Die neue Brennstoffeinspritzvorrichtung weist ein Einspritzventil auf, an dem ein Zerstäubungsgitter (32) angeordnet ist. Das Zerstäubungsgitter (32) zeichnet sich durch seine eine völlig neuartige Geometrie aufweisende Zerstäuberstruktur (36) aus. Das stromabwärts einer Ventilsitzfläche (29) angeordnete scheibenförmige Zerstäubungsgitter (32) ist nämlich mit einer Zerstäuberstruktur (36) ausgestattet, die in axialer Richtung, also über die Dicke des Zerstäubungsgitters (32), zumindest teilweise Querschnittsveränderungen aufweist. Durch diese Geometrie des Zerstäubungsgitters (32) wird der Brennstoff ohne Hilfsenergie besonders fein in kleinste Tröpfchen zerstäubt. Die Brennstoffeinspritzvorrichtung eignet sich besonders für den Einsatz in Brennstoffeinspritzanlagen von gemischverdichtenden fremdgezündeten Brennkraftmaschinen. <IMAGE>
