Abstract (en)

The invention provides a two-component type developer including toner and a carrier. The toner particles in the toner includes a binder resin and magnetic powder dispersed in the binder resin. The binder resin is made of a composition including a resin having an anionic group. The magnetic powder is included in the toner particles at a proportion of 0.1 through 5 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the binder resin. Each of the carrier particles in the carrier has a core particle and a coating layer covering the core particle, and the core particle is made of a magnetic material represented by the following Formula (A): Formula (A) MOFe2O3 wherein M indicates at least one metal selected from the group consisting of Cu, Zn, Fe, Ba, Ni, Mg, Mn, Al and Co. <IMAGE>
