Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0704931A1] The electrical connector terminal is used to secure a number of different conductors ranging from a single large cross-section conductor through to a multi core wire bundle. The terminal clamp has a metal body (9) that fits over the end of the multi core cable (1) and contact is established with the V-shaped rigid connecting rail. The underside of the rail fits against the profile inner surface (10) of the main body. A clamping block (6) is pressed against the cable when a threaded clamping bolt (7) is tightened.
