[origin: WO9500574A1] A polyetherester block copolymer useful in molding applications is prepared from the polymerization of from 5-50 % by weight of polyether block segments and from 50-95 % by weight of polyester block segments. The polyether block segments are a poly(propylene oxide)glycol or an ethylene oxide-capped derivative produced using a double metal cyanide complex catalyst. The glycol contains lower levels of unsaturation, increased functionality and a narrower molecular weight distribution than that prepared using conventional basic catalysts.
