[origin: DE4414175A1] The invention concerns a sealing arrangement for a blocking member (3), such as a slide, a flap and the like, which can be moved from a closure position into an opening position and vice versa. The arrangement comprises a sealing ring (2) which can be moved with its sealing surface (6) into a sealing position when the blocking member (3) is in the closure position. The sealing ring (2) is embedded in a peripheral, groove-like depression (18) in a multi-layered, flexibly resilient membrane (1) and can be moved with its sealing surface (6) into the sealing position under the effect of a pressure medium acting upon the membrane.
