The boot has a strap (11) with slight flexibility extending in the longitudinal direction from the middle or toe area (4) near the sole on one side of the boot round the back (7) of the flexible upper (3) into its upper area remote from the sole and from there back to the toe or centre area near the sole on the other side . The strap is infinitely adjustable. It is fixable against slipping at the back of the heel upper by several spaced holders (14) provided on the back of the upper. A reinforcement part (18) can be inserted between the upper and the first strap to evenly spread out the pressure of the strap. A second strap (20) can extend over the instep (6).

Der Snowboardstiefel (1) hat einen flexiblen Schaft (3) aus weichem, gepolstertem Material. Ausgehend vom sohlennahen Mittel- oder Zehenbereich (4) ist ein Gurt (11) mit geringer Flexibilität in Längsrichtung um die Rückseite (7) des Schaftes (3) in dessen oberen, sohlenfernen Bereich geführt und von dort zurück zum sohlennahen Mittel- oder Zehenbereich der anderen Seite. In ähnlicher Weise ist vom sohlennahen Fersenbereich ein zweiter Gurt (20) über den Rist (6) des Stiefels geführt. Beide Gurte sind stufenlos in der Länge verstellbar. <IMAGE>
