Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0705670A2] The worm (6) connected to a rotary drive is mounted in a housing. Counter blades protrude into the space between the worm blades. Water or steam is introduced into the worm extruder by one or more of the counter blades comprising an inlet pipe. The counter blades have outlets (22) distributed along them and which do not point towards the hub of the worm. The outlets are positioned in the lee of the ceramic material flow.
