[origin: EP0705779A2] The table has a parallel support elements (22) which are arranged to form a format-dependent mainly integral support surface for at least one sheet. The surface is located within a support plane. The support elements are movable against direction of transportation and may be lowered to below the support plane. Each support element has a drive journal (47) and a drive guide (48), which engage with each other. The underside (34) of each element has an inclined guide surface (36). These engage sliding with corresponding inclined surfaces (33) of the table box.
