[origin: EP0705945A1] The actuator (4) for the water outlet seal (6) is moveable between open and closed positions. In open position, an elastic insert (10) for sound insulation is located between the stop surface (8), which limits the movement of the seal, and the actuator, resp. a part (5) coupled to it. Alternatively, the elastic insert is located between the stop surface, esp. the base of the cistern, and the actuator, when the actuator is in closed position. The insert is non-ageing, and is esp. resistant against permanent dampness. It may be formed by a profiled sealing ring.
