[origin: EP0705971A1] The storage tank holds a container (14) in which is an accumulator space (28) and a suction space. From the suction space a delivery unit (16) sucks fuel and delivers it to the engine. In the area of the floor (34) of the container is a valve which in a first position separates the suction space from the accumulator space and is connected to the storage tank. The container has a tubular plastic part (32) which is produced by extrusion and is tightly connected with the floor part near the floor of the storage tank.
