Abstract (en)
In the burner longitudinal axis is an oil ignition lance (1), arranged inside a core air tube (2). The core air tube at its lateral rear end is closed by a plate (2a), through which the oil lance passes, and in the vicinity of its rear end has a lateral aperture (2b). The core air tube is axially displaceably located in a guide tube (4). Joined at right-angles to the guide tube is a core air feed tube (5). The lateral aperture of the core air tube is aligned with the outlet aperture of the core air feed tube with a corresp. axial opening width so that by displacement of the core air tube the air fed via the core air feed tube can enter uninterruptedly in the core air tube.

Bei einem Verfahren zur Verbrennung von staubförmigem Brennstoff, insbesondere Kohle, mittels eines Brenners mit einem ein Gemisch aus Luft und Brennstoff (Primärluft) führenden Primärluftrohr (6) und einem Mantelluft führenden und das Primärluftrohr umgebenden Mantelluftrohr (18), bei dem die Primärluft und verdrallte Mantelluft in eine Brennermuffel (27) unter Bildung einer Primärverbrennungszone mit internem Rezirkulationsgebiet austreten, bei dem beim Austritt der Primärluft die Kohlenstaubkonzentration im Randbereich des Primärluftrohrs unter Erzeugung von Wirbeln aufgerissen wird und bei dem verdrallte Stufenluft der Primärflamme zugeführt wird ist zur weiteren Verbesserung der Verminderung der Bildung von Stickoxiden vorgesehen, daß vor dem Aufreißen der Kohlenstaubkonzentration im Randbereich die Strömungsgeschwindigkeit der Primärluft verändert wird. Weiterhin ist die Erfindung auf Brenner gerichtet, die eine solche Veränderung der Strömungsgeschwindigkeit und/oder eine gleichmäßige Beaufschlagung des Primärluftrohrs mit Primärluft ermöglichen. <IMAGE>
