[origin: EP0706016A1] The gas heating boiler combustion chamber (5) has a peripheral wall (6) from which parallel and vertical hot gas draught pockets (7) lead to a lower exhaust gas collection chamber (8) in the bottom of the housing (1) with exhaust gas draught connections (9). Flow guides (10) are arranged at least in the upper area of the hot gas draught pockets and at a distance to the peripheral wall of the combustion chamber. The flow guides bring together the heat carrier medium flowing out between the hot gas draught pockets and direct it against a part area of the peripheral wall.
