Abstract (en)
Photographic silver halide (AgX) material for medical X-radiography, suitable for high speed processing, consists of a base with AgX emulsions and ancillary layers applied to both sides and can be processed with 60s in a roll development machine. The novel features are that: (a) the amt. of Ag is at least 5.0 g/m<2>; (b) the wt. ratio of binder to Ag in the emulsion is at least 1.1; (c) the average grain vol. of the AgX grains is less than 0.35 cu. micron; and (d) the process water pick-up (PWP) of the material is less than 20 g./m<2>.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein schnellverarbeitbares photographisches Aufzeichnungsmaterial für die medizinische Radiographie, das innerhalb von 30 bis 60 Sekunden in einer Filmentwicklungsmaschine verarbeitbar ist und sehr gute photographische und physikalische Eigenschaften besitzt. Das Aufzeichnungsmaterial weist A) einen Silberauftrag von mindestens 5 g/m², B) ein gewichtsmäßiges Verhältnis von Bindemittelauftrag in der Silberhalogenidemulsionsschicht zu Silberauftrag von mindestens 1,1, C) ein mittleres Kornvolumen der verwendeten Silberhalogenidemulsion von weniger als 0,35 µm³ und D) eine Prozeßwasseraufnahme unter 20 g/m² auf.
