[origin: DE4434778C1] The blower (9), arranged axi-parallel to guide cylinder length ahead of cylinder and reverser drum transfer, directs air onto the cylinder and separately (10) at a tangent onto the transfer area (8). Each sheet-carrying part of the reversing drum (1) is allocated a reversible suck-and-block device (16) coupled to the pneumatic system (17) to switch a sheet guide (12) below the sheet path and between drum and cylinder (2) over in response to suck or blow effect. The separate tangential air outlet (10) is loaded with variable blowing air intensity, notably higher air, and the blower (9) can swing out of the transfer area (8). The reversible blower (16) switches to blow air for top side printing but to suction for the obverse print.
