Abstract (en)
The device (10) tapers the edges of leather blanks. The device comprises a machine frame (1) holding a work table plate (1'); and drive motors (3,11) associated with a rotating, endless band knife (4) and a roller (6) feeding against the cutting edge (4'). The knife runs over a drive disc (2') and working disc (2), with a guide foot (7, 7'). The surface (5) of the working disc (2) adjacent to the cutting edge (4') is profiled to eject cuttings.

Zum Schärfen der Kanten von Lederzuschnitten wird eine Vorrichtung verwendet, bestehend aus einem Maschinengestell (1) mit Arbeitstischplatte (1'). Arbeitswerkzeug ist ein endloses Bandmesser (4), das über zwei Bandscheiben (2, 2') läuft. Die eine Bandscheibe (2) ist die Arbeitsbandscheibe; ihr ist eine Vorschubwalze (6) und ein Führungsfuß (7, 7') zugeordnet. Die andere Bandscheibe (2') ist von einem Antriebsmotor (3) angetrieben. Ein weiterer Antriebsmotor (11) treibt die Vorschubwalze (6) an. Ein dritter Motor (14) treibt eine Schleifvorrichtung (15) an, die die Schneide des Bandmessers (4) kontinuierlich schärft. Höhe und Winkel des Führungsfußes (7, 7') sind über Motortriebe (8, 8', 9, 9') verstellbar. Eine übergeordnete Steuereinrichtung (30) speichert die den Lederzuschnitten zugeordneten Höhen- und Winkelwerte und verstellt den Führungsfuß (7, 7') während der Produktion entsprechend. <IMAGE>
