[origin: EP0707178A2] The air-conditioning system has extraction ducts (2-4) for extracting the stale air from each room and feeding it to a central heating, filtering and mixing point (5) where it is mixed with fresh air, before being fed back to each room via supply ducts (6-8). The extraction ducts and/or the feed ducts include ozone generators (10) e.g. UV light sources providing UV-C light, which are regulated via respective ozone detectors (13).
