Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0707188A1] Substrate in the form of rollers, beams, plates, positional supports, etc. consists of SiC in the contact region. A thermally sprayed corrosion protective layer of thickness of 1-300 mu m is applied on the SiC. A process for heat treating metals in ovens using the above substrate is also claimed.
