Abstract (en)

The smoke detector has a housing enclosing a detection chamber (2) which is provided by a replaceable insert, incorporating a smoke sensor (4,5) and an electrical adaption circuit (6). The electronic signal evaluation and alarm activation circuit (3) is contained within the smoke detector housing, with the adaption circuit coupled to it via an interface circuit for transfer of the smoke sensor signals. The housing pref. has a fixed upper part (1) and a removable lower part (9) between which the detection chamber insert is fitted, with the evaluation and alarm activation circuit contained in the lower part.

Es wird ein Rauchmelder, insbesondere ein optischer Rauchmelder beschrieben, der nach dem Prinzip der Streulichtmessung arbeitet. Der Rauchmelder weist ein Gehäuse und eine Detektionskammer auf, die als auswechselbarer Einsatz ausgebildet ist. Die Detektionskammer enthält eine Leuchtdiode, ein Fotoelement, ein Labyrinth und eine elektrische Anpassungsschaltung. Eine elektronische Signalverarbeitungs- und Alarmauswertungsschaltung ist im Gehäuseunterteil angebracht. Der Rauchmelder bietet den Vorteil des kostengünstigen und schnellen Ersatzes einer verschmutzten Detektionskammer gegen eine neue. <IMAGE>
