Abstract (en)
The mirror (3) serves as a means of focussing incident emissions (Se) onto a pyro electrical sensor (1) that is mounted with the housing. The incident emission passes through a glass panel insert into the housing. In order to reduce the effect of unwanted noise emissions upon the sensor element, the mirror is constructed as a thermal device and has a carrier layer (4) of a sark material on top of which is a reflective coating (5). This coating is transparent for disturbance emissions below the wavelength range of emissions given off by humans which are reflected to the sensor.

Der Spiegel (3) dient zur Fokussierung von aus einer bestimmten Richtung einfallender Strahlung (Se) auf mindestens ein pyroelektrisches Sensorelement (1). Um zu verhindern, dass unerwünschte Störstrahlung auf das Sensorelement (1) gelangt, ist der Spiegel (3) als Hitzespiegel ausgebildet und mehrschichtig aufgebaut. Der Spiegel (3) weist eine Trägerschicht (4) aus dunklem Material und eine auf diese applizierte Reflexionsschicht (5) auf. Die letztere ist einerseits für Störstrahlung unterhalb des Wellenlängenbereichs von menschlicher Wärmestrahlung transparent und reflektiert andererseits Strahlung aus dem genannten Wellenlängenbereich stark. Die Reflexionsschicht (5) ist vorzugsweise durch eine sogenannte ITO-Schicht gebildet.
