[origin: WO9417705A1] The application concerns a novel design for a space-saving clothes rack on castors (5) for domestic use. The novelty lies in the combination of two U-shaped supporting brackets (1) in mirror-image arrangement interlinked in the upper region by connectors (2) in such a way that the supporting brackets (1), which are folded together for storage purposes, are pivoted outwards for use and ensure that the rack (3) is stably supported. The supporting brackets (1) and the rack (3) consist of three tubular sections permanently joined together by corner connectors (4). The corner connectors (4) of the supporting brackets (1) are also castor supports and fitted with swivelling castors (5). The corner connectors (6) of the rack (3) are fitted on one side with cams (7) to prevent the clothes hangers from sliding off sideways. The connectors (2) consist of two identical housing sections (8) and have a central aperture in the shape of the section of the rack (3) in which the rack can be secured at various heights. They are secured by locking devices inserted in the connectors (2).
