[origin: EP0708204A1] The post is fastened to a rail (1) via a fastener limb (2). This engages under the foot of the rail, and clamps around the side of the foot via a gripper (6) fixed to it. On the other side of the rail, the fastener limb is fixed via a quick-action locking unit with sliding gripper. This is hinged to the limb and engages around the other side of the rail foot. The quick-action unit consists of slide (5) which moves along the fastener limb and may be locked to it. The slide carries a locking element, consisting of pivoted clamp lever (8), clamp screw, or bolt.
