[origin: EP0708462A1] The electric contact clamp (1) includes clamp body (2) which defines a grip plane (3) on each side of which two series of fingers (5) are mounted with their front faces (6) towards the plane. These define one jaw (9a) between the leading ends (8a) of the fingers, and another jaw (9b) between their trailing ends (8b). A frontal central region of the front face of each finger bears upon a frontal blocking element (11), and a dorsal central region of its rear face (7) upon a dorsal abutment (12).
