Abstract (en)

[origin: JPH07220778A] PURPOSE: To cancel cross talk at a first part of a connector, by causing cross talk having a polarity opposing the cross talk generated at the first part to be generated at a second part thereof. CONSTITUTION: A core shaft 20 having a width (w) made of an insulating material is mounted in a case 11 so as to stand close by a contact position 15 of conductive parts 12, 13. The core shaft 20 extends over the entire length of a connector and is provided with slots 21, 22 such that they accord with the end part contact position 15 of the conductive parts 12, 13. Cross talk is generated in the form of an induced voltage having a positive polarity at a meshing part of the end part 15. But, electric conductors 16 put in connection at the end part 15 are disposed side by side on a surface of the core shaft 20 relative to a predetermined distance (w+x+y+z). Negative cross talk is thereby generated in the form of the induced voltage having an opposite to the meshing part of the end part 15. Accordingly, the positive cross talk can be canceled. Further, cross talk at the electric conductor 16 parts can be canceled by selecting appropriately dimensions, w, x, y, and z.
