Abstract (en)
A method for decreasing the amount of liquid remaining with pulp which will be bleached is disclosed. The addition of a particular anionic or nonionic surfactant is effective for such a purpose. The present invention allows a washing operation to reduce the carryover of contaminants on to the next process.
