Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0709533A2] The lock cylinder has a rotary lock cylinder with at least one pin restraint (10,11) controlled by an inserted key profile and having a cylinder core pin (11) and a housing pin (12) and at least one electro-magnetically-operated locking pin (14). The latter is incorporated in the pin restraint and fits into a bore of the housing pin. The electro-magnetically-operated locking pin is pref. coaxial to the housing pin with its locking end (16) fitting into an axial blind bore (11') of the cylinder core pin.
