[origin: EP0709536A1] The mechanism automatically closes a hinging door leaf of window, being loaded during the opening movement. The torque acting on the leaf follows different characteristic curved when opening and shutting. A control system can be provided to change the torque curve at a particular angular position of the door. As an alternative to a spring, a pneumatic or hydraulic pressure accumulator can be used, working in conjunction with a control cam (16, 17). The latter can have separate cam faces for opening and shutting and which are cut in and out of use as desired.
