Abstract (en)
The fastening, esp. for a boot with a rigid or semi-rigid shell, consists of a plate (8) with a series of hook-shaped slots in it, fastened to one side (7) of the boot, and a wire fastening loop (4) and lever (3) on the other side (6). The loop is in one piece with straight transverse ends (9,10), while the lever has two free ends (16,17) which are twisted round one end (10) of the loop and engage with holes in a support (5) to form pivots for the lever, tensioning the loop so that it is held in place. In various of the design the loop can have two free ends to engage with a moulded cover on the lever, and the fastening can be equipped with a screw tensioner.

Fermeture à crochet simplifiée pour chaussure de sport comportant un moyen élastique de rappel en position plaquée contre la coque de la chaussure. La fermeture à crochet (1) présente au moins un élément, tel qu'un levier (3) obtenu en fil métallique flexible en forme de boucle ouverte dont les branches latérales (16, 17) sont de longueurs inégales d'une valeur "X", les extrémités recourbées (18, 19) desdites branches venant se fixer dans des trous correspondants (18', 19') réalisés sur un autre élément, tel qu'une embase (5), sur lequel il se monte. Du fait du décalage "X" des extrémités recourbées (18, 19) de l'élément (3), tout pivotement de ce dernier génère une certaine déformation élastique de ses branches (16, 17), lesquelles reviennent automatiquement dans leur position initiale dès que le levier (3) est relâché assurant ainsi la fonction de rappel élastique. <IMAGE>
