Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0710541A1] The device comprises one or more pressure chambers which are sealed gas- and esp. fluid-tight, relative to a press plate (5) and the associated press belts (1). The space is partially or completely defined by an elastically deformable material. A slide film (12) is positioned between the pressure chamber(s) and the press belts. The slide film may be fastened to the leading edge, or to both sides of the press plate. Winding rollers for the film may be positioned on either side of the press plate. The film may be made from a continuous tape. The pressure chamber(s) may be formed as neighbouring elastic hoses (10), which are internally charged by a pressure medium.
