Abstract (en)
A wristwatch (1) has a normal analogue display (11,12) and a case (4,5,6) which houses an energy source (21), an electronic coding module (22), a vibrator (23) and a conventional timing circuit. The vibrator consists of an electric motor which vibrates a mass (24) through an elastic medium (25). Numerical (N) and control (M) keys in relief are located around the face of the watch and are used to set times and alarms through sensors (8). The watch conveys time information of all types to the wrist of the user by coded vibrations transmitted by the vibrator (23) and the mass (24).

Pièce d'horlogerie électronique à affichage analogique ou digital délivrant des informations horométriques de façon tactile non sonore dans laquelle des organes de commande (L, C, B1, B2) ménagés à l'extérieur d'un boîtier fermé coopèrent par l'intermédiaire d'un circuit d'interprétation avec les moyens électroniques de codage (22) pour piloter au moyen de trains d'impulsions le dispositif générateur de vibrations (23) pour émettre des trains de vibrations représentatifs d'une information horométrique ou de l'exactitude d'une instruction horaire ou non horaire introduite au moyen desdits organes de commande. La pièce d'horlogerie présente un aspect usuel, mais permet à une personne malvoyante de connaître l'heure, de corriger l'heure interne et d'installer une heure d'alarme. <IMAGE>
