[origin: DE4438921C1] An electrical connecting socket insert (1) is mounted on a carrier rail (4) with the aid of a support system. The system has a mounting plate (5) with a profiled underside (6) that allows the plate to latch onto the carrier rail. The plate has a series of formed apertures (8) that allow support legs (9) to clip into position. Four such legs are positioned to provide fixing points for holders (10) that engage spring elements (24) on the legs. Once the holders are secured the socket element may be installed using screws (3) that engage locations (20) in the holders.
