Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0711097A2] The current terminal has a conductor layer soldered to the surface of the windscreen via a solder foot and a wire filament flexible ribbon conductor section (1), fitted with a connector at one end. The connector has an insulating sleeve (13) and a contact pin (12), coupled to the ribbon conductor section via a coupling part (15) and a reduction piece (9), welded or soldered to the ribbon conductor section. The front end of the reduction section is formed as a narrow tongue (10) for connection to the coupling part, the latter pref. provided by a crimp connector and enclosed together with the reduction piece in an insulating shrink-fit sleeve (18).
