Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0711098A1] The cooker heating plate(2) has on its underside an induction heating unit(3). The plate is made up of: a first part(21), produced by moulding a thermo-resistant material, in which a hole(22) is formed of size greater than the diameter of the induction unit, and a second part(20) made from glass, designed to support a pan(1). The second part(20) covers the hole(22) in the first part(21). The thermo-resistant material of the first part(21) is thermo- hard or thermo-plastic and the second part may be made from a vitro-ceramic or boro-silicate glass.
