[origin: EP0711666A2] There is at least one cleaning mechanism (10) movably positioned on a transfer drum (5) in an approximately radial direction in a defined area. The mechanism is brought into positive contact with the adjacent sheet-conveyor (4). The mechanism is spring-loaded and detachably locked in an adjustable holder. It is formed of a washing roller (12) and an absorbent pad (11), washing cloth with pressure element, or a flexible blade. The sheet-conveyor cylinder is a drum or printing cylinder (3,6).
