Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0711700A1] The spoiler unit (3) is set at a distance from the vane (9) which is mounted between two sidepieces. It has an integrated air inlet grid (6) in a hood cover (2). The spoiler unit is integral with the sidepieces (4,5) holding the vane and each of the sidepieces has inflow openings (14) supplying air to the engine. The vane is fixable with the sidepieces through screws and can occupy at least two fixed positions. One position of the vane is at an angle of at least 10 deg. to the base position. In plan view the vane forms the section of a circular ring and in front view is arc-shaped.
