[origin: EP0711710A2] The wire mesh outer casing (3) is joined to the wooden pallet (2) by metal fixtures (6,7) gripping over the bottom edge frame (4) and also joined to the wooden pallet. At least one of the fixtures consists of a flat steel cross-bar (8) running across the wooden pallet from one pallet edge to the other and screwed (9) to the wooden pallet. Near the ends of the flat steel cross-bar are bridge shaped pieces (10) open towards the pallet and gripping over the bottom edge frame of the wire mesh outer casing. The bridge shaped pieces are closed by a bolt (12) inserted into holes (11) in the ridges and gripping under the bottom edge frame.
