[origin: EP0711869A2] A multilayer breast box is for feeding at least two machine-wide pulp suspension currents to the forming section of a paper machine. It has a nozzle chamber defined by two current guide walls (1), which end at a machine-wide discharge gap, and by two side walls. The nozzle chamber contains at least one lamella (2) with the function of a partitioning which keeps the fibre suspension currents apart from each other in the discharge gap section. The lamella (2) comprises a main section, preferably made of carbon fibre-reinforced plastics, and a tip made of a rigid material. The tip takes the form of a strip which has a sharp edge and is integrated into the main section.
