[origin: EP0711901A1] The plastic protective roller blind for windows pref. consists of several layers, and is novel in the arrangement of reinforcing folds. Over the full width of the protective sheet (1) there are lines of stiffening (2), equally separated and parallel to the axis of the roller (1'). Pref. The stiffening (2) is formed by pleated, permanent prefolds (3) in the sheet. The protective sheet (1) is largely, or entirely made of polyester. The distance (b) between two adjacent stiffening lines (2) is 5-20 mm, pref. 7-14 mm.
