[origin: EP0711940A1] A method of application of radial sealing in a slide closure of a double seated valve has the seal (1) located such that, during the opening of the valve, it is guided into the cylindrical valve seat surface (5) and remains sealed. At the same time it forms a sealed connection, via an end section, with the sealing device (2) of the second closure element (4). The end section of the radial seal is enclosed radially inwards and sealed by the second sealing device, for the further opening movement and following open position.
